Calls to Artists

Throughout the year, the LHAC will host a number of community arts exhibits open to any artist who wishes to participate. As space is limited, pre-registration will be required for these exhibits. Refer to the following schedule and calls-to-artists if you are interested in participating in any or all of these exhibits.

June 2023

Going Green

This is a community arts exhibit open to all artists, in any medium and/or style. The theme is completely open to interpretation. This is a non-juried exhibit, but preregistration is required, as space is limited and artists are taken on a first-come basis. (Maximum 18" size in either/both directions)

Drop off of work: Tue. May 30, 2-4pm and Wed. May 31, 10-5

Reception: Thur. June 1st, 4-7pm

Pick up of work: Wed. July 5 10-5

Artists may drop off up to 2 pieces for exhibition.

Fee: $10 per piece, 20% commission on sales

July 2023

Sunrise & Sunset

This open-call group exhibit is open to all artists, in any medium and/or style. We are looking for images of sunrise and sunset, or interpretations on this theme. The exhibit is non-juried, but space is limited, so preregistration by email is required.

Drop off of work: Wed. July 5, 10-5

Reception: Thur. July 6, 4-7pm

Pick up of work: Tue. Aug. 1, 2-4pm and Wed. Aug. 2, 10-5

Artists may drop off up to 2 pieces for exhibition.

Fee: $10 per piece, 20% commission on sales

Call-to-Artists

Note that as a general rule, the community exhibits are not juried and are open to anyone who wishes to participate. However, the Lane House Arts Center always retains the right to refuse any work.
